What does "indigent status" mean?
 

Indigent status applies to individuals receiving Social Security (SSI or SSDI).
It may be used to cover a portion of the shared room cost only.
This assistance requires an application and approval that we process through 

the State of Ohio.

Provide required documents including:

1. A copy of your Social Security card

2. Your SSI/SSDI Ohio ward letter

 

Step 2:
Processing Time - Please allow up to two weeks for processing.

SPECIAL NOTICE: 

We offer indigency as long as Ohio funding is availible.

Should funding be exhausted, it results in indigency being suspended.
